Memories Etched :
Artworks Details:
This series is inspired by Kolams, the traditional rice flour drawings made every morning at the entrance of South Indian homes. The textures and flow in these works reflect the meditative rhythm and graceful structure of Kolams.
The paintings evoke the rich fragrance of imagination and the joy of untroubled days, where time felt slower and life was simple. Set against the backdrop of temples and village surroundings, many of the artworks capture children playing, echoing the artist’s own childhood memories—spaces where kids shared secret wishes and innocent aspirations.
The works blend nostalgia, tradition, and personal memory, offering a visual journey through culturally rich, serene moments from rural South India.
